This is a picture that Randy Koehler took at an [sign in to see URL]. race in 1973. He has loaned it to [sign in to see URL]. for the 50th Anniversary celebration next weekend. He also has extremely rare 8mm silent home movies of this car in action that will be featured in the special [sign in to see URL]. historic video presentation at the Saturday night banquet in the Saratoga Auto Museum. This is a must-see event! Dave has over 120 people signed up. More impressively, most of those signed up are not current members. Can you imagine the history that will be together under one roof for this once in a lifetime event? This is shaping up to be the biggest and most prestigeous [sign in to see URL]. event in it's 50 year history!

No one really knows anything about this car except for Bruce Carlton, who could tell us only this: The car was built from a Saab 93 or 96 floor pan, with the Saab FWD running gear. He thinks the wood used for the body was Ash, and that the track of the car has obviously been narrowed. He thinks the car was built by [sign in to see URL]. engineering students, and that it only ran on two occaisions. One day in '72 and one day in '73. Imagine pulling up to the show field this Saturday driving this car?

Does ANYONE know anything about the history of this car, who built it, drove it, owned it, and most of [sign in to see URL] is it now?
