Disregard the E-mail. I finally figured it out. I'm wondering if having to create an account will turn some people off. Otherwise I think it will be O.K.,better than the old one.

Yeah it is a little inconvienient, but that seems to be the only way most boards are now. I did upgrade the board so we don't have to put up with advertising banners. I'm sure once everyone gets the hang of it they will like it. In the mean time I will keep an eye on our old board host to see if that one becomes available again.

Ok, I have a account now, I don't post many measages but I do read all of your post. This is a little difficult to get used too but I'll get used to it. Got to try to post a image next.

I finally after 4 tries got on, seems like AOL was treating my return sign up return message like Spam. But I'm on now. The only thing I don't like is it will keep infrequent users from posting because they have to sign up. It may keep people away. It looks like a nice board though.

Well hopefully not.
Signing up is quick, painless, and free. emoticon I can't imagine how anyone would not post because of having to sign in.

I have visited every other ice racing club's message boards [that I could find] and have found that our's is clearly the most active. This is probably due to A.M.E.C. being a year round club, and as such, perhaps it's members are a bit more enthusiastic than most. Even though the typical number of people actually posting is small, there are quite a few people regularly reading the posts all year round. I think this fact reflects very well on our group. emoticon
