A check of the surface this afternoon (Saturday) shows that although there is still 14-15 inches of ice the top is covered in water and the forecast for the next 24 hours is to remain above freezing. So AMEC officials have waved off this weekends racing and will set our sights on the big Tupper Lake weekend next week.
