14 inch Menards 185/75 R14

Up here north of the border, the track builders of our series in Minden have concluded that we can no longer run Menards. emoticon So, I have for sale five 14 inch Menards that are virtually new, since they've only been run on four weekends. One tire is still in its wrapper and has never seen the track. Of the remaining four, one tire has about five studs missing from the outer row as the result of fender contact arising from a bump from another car. Otherwise, all the tires have all studs and are in virtually new condition. Tires have always been stored indoors. I'm open to offers, and we can probably figure out how to get them to you. I'm in Oakville, just west of Toronto, so I'm not too far away. You can email me at gvernon149@gmaildotcom (you can figure out where the period goes..) I have photos I can send. I'd like to see them used rather than gather dust in my garage.

Thanks for posting Gary, how come you guys are not using Menards now?

There are not many cars down here that use 14" rims but hopefully somebody will buy them from you.

Dave as you may know we run on a track that is built on dry land, which means a lot of flooding has to take place to build the track, which we use for six consecutive weekends, both days. Once upon a time we ran both rubber to ice and stud classes. However, with the introduction of street stud tires, we saw a lot of growth in that class, and fewer cars in stud. Given the wear on the track from both stud and street stud, making ice was taking up lots of time and money, and the problem we faced is that the revenue from stud car entries simply didn't pay for the cost of keeping up the ice. So, we now run both street stud and rubber to ice, and studs are history. Its too bad, but its easier to maintain the track without the huge wear you get from the stud classes.
