oooooooooohh
Nice pic.
I remember when we used to be able to drive on snow covered roads before the plows came.
At night, no other cars around.
No headlights.
Very beautiful.
I may need to move to the Great White North.

Welcome Crusher! Image

You're making us jealous down here. We can't seem to get rid of Fall. These 50 degree days have got to stop! Image

Robin I like to take my car out during or right after a nice fresh snowfall. But I've got to be quick sometimes because if you wait too long, the plows come and screw everything up! Image

25 degrees up here. Cars are being prepped ready to go. Can go out and practice in this weather.

As you can tell I like to rub it in.

Yep, really nice while it's still snowing.
Even worse than the plows is all those "other" drivers. You have to get out there before they do.

That's exactly what I did today. I bolted my '02 SL champ series Hakka 09's [anyone remember the old 09's?] onto my 4WD Sentra wagon and beat both the plows [and their nasty salt] and the other drivers out to my favorite "middle of nowhere" mountain roads. It was an awesome warmup for the upcoming season. emoticon

....and then the Fed-Ex man came and dropped off my fresh SLU tires. It's like Christmas came early this year! emoticon

I remember one year when we had a lot of snow,we had a race scheduled at 4th lake which was cancelled because of too much snow. Anyway,I had my SAAB 96 and I drove home the back way thru Blue Mtn Lake,Speculator etc. It was at night, the roads had a light coating of snow and nobody on the road. I had fun all the way home.

Two years ago we had to cancel our last day which was in March due to to much snow. That really sucked. Got a good storm today though. Things are looking better.

Question: Do you (AMEC) race near Plattsburgh?

Crusher, we only raced one time up there that I know of it was in the late 80's and it was on Chazy Lake. We ran a 3 hour enduro.
